Pediatric Eye Care

Undetected or uncorrected vision problems can affect children socially, athletically and academically. If your child is having trouble in school, at home or on the play field, it could be due to an underlining vision problem. Proper learning, reading and many other skills depends not only on good vision, but also on the ability of the eyes to coordinate. Children with vision problems often experience headaches, avoiding/poor reading, frequent blinking, tilting the head to one side and double vision. Often children do not know that the vision they are experiencing is abnormal, hence they are not able to express that they need help. It is absolutely necessary (as a parent/guardian) to have our children’s eyes examined at least once a year.
